My first full paycheck in 4 years

I have finally finish my first full-time week in over 4 years. Which is sadly a long time even by temporary job standards. At $10 per hour, I guess after taxes I would get $335. Definitely more than GPT sites, but there are methods out there of making money online. Not those methods that require an investment and expect to lose most of your money. Hopefully I'll get some more money in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I love technology, but I'm too poor to even afford something decent for my laptop PC.

Back to work

Looks like I'm back to my old job for supposedly 24 days. Oh well, it's decent enough for holiday shopping and paying the bills. I know very well that people will be shopping for technology this year, especially with new releases like the iPad mini. Still need to get more money since I lost my main source from GPT sites.

Jobless around for the holidays

After finishing final exams, I went job hunting again but this time I had to include fast food jobs and grocery stores. Guess what, they're not hiring people because they are at full capacity. I was like that does not make any sense at all. These stores tend to hire people who are much older than I and inexperience at the tasks they are doing. What is worse is that some people do not seem to read their weekly ad on prices of their products. With the unemployment rate still in double digits, I might as well give up on finding a job if the companies are hiring those who do not know what they are doing.

Thanksgiving, Black Friday, end of college semester

The holidays came by and I relax on those days. I didn't participate in Black Friday since I still don't have any money and job hunting. Life is very hard for me anyway and approaching 30 isn't getting any easier for me. Filing a complaint to the EEOC isn't going to do any good when it takes over 180 days to either approve or reject my case. Time is short on my side, I've probably spent my time giving advice, and writing my own reviews on computer hardware. Georgia isn't a good place to find work and minorities are treated rather poorly here. I'll graduate next Fall and say goodbye to this state. Moving out may be the best option for me. Whatever opportunity I have here is now gone. If anybody wants an opinion or critique of some computer hardware, I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Labor Day

Labor Day seems to be getting closer here in the USA, but only a fraction of the population will go out on vacation while the rest stay home. Many of the people I have seen are incredibly sad due to people losing their jobs and not making any income. I have seen it with my own eyes and experience job loss myself. It is frustrating to come up with money to pay for bills and I have to sell my stuff on eBay to cover for college tuition and expenses.

More people seem to be vocal about Obama's promise of change, but it is turning out to be a storm of uncertainty and unrest. People now blame Obama for the recession, but they don't realize that our country has outsource the jobs long ago to other nations. China now has the second largest GDP and will now do what it takes to surpass the USA. Don't blame the President, blame your companies and organizations for outsourcing your work to these nations to satisfy their greed and profit. Quit saying you're buying an American car when it was assembled in Mexico. You must realize that we can not blame someone else as a scapegoat, when we should be blaming those directly responsible for your job loss and time.

We're laughed at around the world and completely hated in the Middle East for trying to get into other countries' affairs. It's time for the USA to advance beyond petty squabbles and excuses and unite to make our future brighter instead of being bleak.
Violence and irrational behavior are no excuses to change our nation for the better.

Spring Break

College is taking a short break, so I'm going out to find a job and build my computer. Money is important anyway and so many of my friends lost their jobs as well. Just make sure that you do have money or else it will be impossible to buy the necessities for survival.

No job equals no spending

I haven't worked much this month due to job hunting and still coming up empty. Christmas wasn't any good and New Year might be even worse. I'm getting desperate for money now, so I might end up enlisting in the military. I don't care what anyone else says, I need money really bad and what they offer seems to better than what I earned this month. Benefits and paid college tuition are great bonuses as well. It's time that I start out on my own even if it costs me my own life. All I ever live up to now is abuse and torment, not spreading out happiness and hope to others.

Seasons greetings

With Black Friday over and Cyber Monday approaching, I can't help but wonder if people are going to be shopping for gifts or still be saving money. My parents have already bought a washer/dryer combo from Samsung for $1000 USD, which is $750 less than the original prices. As for me, I'm trying to save up some money for building my new computer. I still don't have the parts yet, but I'm browsing all over the Web for great bargains. eBay is a great auction site to get components at low prices, but you buy them as is unless they are completely new. People want to save money since jobs are disappearing constantly. Let's hope the holidays in December are much more promising.
