eBid

I have set-up an auction at eBid for a Garmin Oregon 650t GPS. It's not the GPS used in cars; it's for outdoor activities and mapping geographical areas. It's quite nifty to have and works pretty good if you want to know your surroundings. It is up for auction at a reserve price and I ship to the US only. Here is the link to the GPS.

MassProfitShares

MassProfitShares is an interesting site which is somewhat similar to Instasurfs, but it only has opened recently. You make money by investing a small amount into advertising packages for as low as $2 to as high as $60. You get money in the form of dividends and people continuously invest in the site. They expire after 2 days, then you can auto-enroll again with the dividends that you made. I'm not familiar with it, but I assume it is similar to ProfitClicking and PassiveRevShare. Not sure how long they'll last since they'll probably turned to scams, but it's better to invest early instead of later so you'll get some extra money. A decent way to promote your websites and gain traffic. Also you'll be making money before the site turns sour.

Back to work temporary

Looks like I'm back to work after a long hiatus (7 weeks). Of course, my pay is still the same as 5 years ago at $10 per hour. It is just a temp. job and no other job in Georgia will hire me. Simple reason is that most require experience in the field and I have none of that for my business degree. The job assignment will last 3 to 4 weeks then I'm back to job searching for nothing. Life is cruel to a middle-aged person with a BBA degree.

Making money online through research

Making money online isn't as easy as people make it out to be. For one thing, there are just as many scams as opportunities so proper research is necessary to find ones that actually pay you. It's not easy to find them, but once you do it's still up to you whether to take chances on them. Of course, some methods of making money are either legal or illegal, which is divided into white-hat versus black-hat methods. All these acronyms thrown around so people have to figure out which methods are best. I will continue that later in a future post.

TreasureTrooper's November contest

This is different from penny auction sites, but it helps you earn extra money into your PayPal account easily. Treasure Trooper is sponsoring a contest where whoever gets the most referrals gets bonus money. It is rather simple really. All you have to do is sign up for DirecTV for a year and Treasure Trooper will pay you $180! That's right $180 just for completing this offer and get it approved.

If you refer people who sign up for Treasure Trooper and completed the DirecTV offer, they also get $180 easily. The best part is, you get $36 for each referral that has completed the DirecTV offer. It really adds up quickly and this contest is for the month of November. This adds up really quickly in referrals. As for the bonus, you must have at least 3 referrals who completed the DirecTV offer and you get a $50 bonus.

Here is how it goes for referrals completing the DirecTV offer and bonuses:
Get three leads, get a $50 bonus!
Get five leads, get a $100 bonus!
Get ten leads, get a $250 bonus!
User with the most leads (must have at least 10) gets a $500 bonus!

Pretty nifty overall and you can use that money any way you want it.

Some penny auction sites down

Well looks like some penny auction sites shut down for awhile. Happens all the time since they can't seem to make profits. Zoogboo is obvious anyway. monsterpennybids seems to give up on future auctions due to reserves set too high on items. Snaago has put their site up for sale on eBay, which means the site is in trouble (financial or legal who knows). What's really funny is that these owners show their other side (like Two-Face in those Batman movies)which is more dark and twisted. Doesn't matter anyway when there are countless other penny auction sites opening everyday.

I'll put up a list of penny auction sites you can rely on (hopefully) the right side. I really did win a few items, but cash deposited into your Paypal account is the easiest and doesn't require long delivery times.
