Still no work

After going back to college, I still couldn't even find a job. I've applied to Best Buy and Domino's Pizza since they were interested in hiring new employees. After a week and still nothing. Everything seems to went downhill for me and I have to pay for my college tuition and textbooks. I'm not here to spend money on junk like other people and I need to save that money to replace some components in my PC, as well as my poor laptop which seems to not boot sometimes.

I don't even have a car and businesses still have the nerve to deny people based on experience and race. Might as well wait and see if new job opportunities will come in. Some people I've talked to at forums are spending money like crazy and I'm out here begging for money. Guess I'll be the laughing stock when I've finished college in 4 years.

I'd like to invite you to visit my blogs. I have Snellville Jobs and Gwinnett Jobs. I also have several local blogs with news and current events in them. I know Snellville United Methodist Church has a career networking group that's free you should look into. I also saw that the Gwinnett Library system will be hiring soon. Not sure how many jobs though. Overall, the pay rate in Gwinnett has declined about 2 percent less than it was during the same period last year. So, know it's not you. Do what you can, but don't beat yourself up or get down about it if you don't get employed right away. Try to stay positive and give off an optimistic vibe. There's a free business networking group that meets Tuesdays from 6 to 10 pm at Mellow Mushroom in Snellville. It's not a hiring opportunity, but the more people you know in business, the better it can be for you. Good luck!

Interesting. I'm looking for jobs around Lawrenceville and Duluth since I live around so many businesses there. Even the minimum wage jobs are gone (really odd though and they gave me the cold shoulder). I'm just looking for a computer repair/support job since I'm studying for the A+ certification exam and attending Georgia Gwinnett College.
