EpicRewardz GPT: Legitimate for gamers

EpicRewardz has helped me get $160 in just 5 weeks. Sure it isn't as much as CPA, but much easier to do and qualify for. Since I was banned from a few GPT sites, I have to search the web to find alternatives which help me still make money online.

EpicRewardz: another GPT site

This site is just like any other GPT site, but the rewards seem to cater to video gamers. EpicRewardz does however have no minimum payout and payments are made daily which is quite nice. Payment is usually PayPal only, but you can custom order anything off Amazon if you have the points to buy an item from there. The rates for daily surveys are quite high, but referral bonuses are at 5%. Still it is a good site to join and make some cash. I'll be back later to post some links to daily surveys you can do on the blog here.

Bot for Sitizens

Here is a bot for Sitizens, the exploration website that allows you to conquer domains and claim them as your own. It does work indeed, but it is quirky sometimes with its random shutdowns. Otherwise the bot works fine and it does give you advantages in arrivals and explorations.

MindsPay - Survey Completion (USA)

I have an offer that anyone from the USA can do. It is MindsPay and all you have to do is sign-up, confirm your e-mail, and complete a survey from them. You will be paid $0.60 by PayPal if it is approved. It is for those from the USA, but anyone from there can do this offer as long as it credits. BTW, you will be paid if it is credited so just leave your verified PayPal e-mail address under Comments as soon as I find out MindsPay has approved for you.

Speedyfinger

Speedyfinger is a penny auction site that has been around for slightly more than 2 years. I've been bidding there more often lately since there are more bidders now. It is incredibly slow and very different from a traditional penny auction site. All of their auctions are reserve auctions, so you have to guess whether the auction is high or low. The most expensive item on the auction is the iPad, so the reserve price could be high or low. I made a lot in gift cards.

My first full paycheck in 4 years

I have finally finish my first full-time week in over 4 years. Which is sadly a long time even by temporary job standards. At $10 per hour, I guess after taxes I would get $335. Definitely more than GPT sites, but there are methods out there of making money online. Not those methods that require an investment and expect to lose most of your money. Hopefully I'll get some more money in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I love technology, but I'm too poor to even afford something decent for my laptop PC.

Back to work

Looks like I'm back to my old job for supposedly 24 days. Oh well, it's decent enough for holiday shopping and paying the bills. I know very well that people will be shopping for technology this year, especially with new releases like the iPad mini. Still need to get more money since I lost my main source from GPT sites.

Email marketing advice

It seems that email marketing isn't as simple as it seems. In fact, it is more complicated than it looks. You obviously need money to invest anyway. First and foremost is a bulk email sender program. Most recommend Atomic Mail Sender, but I got UltraMailer Sender Professional for free, but it is limited to only 300 keys. It is still promoting anyway. Second is SMTP servers, which are either free or cost money. Obviously it is going to cost money if you're sending over 20k emails per day. A Google search shows that there are plenty of SMTP servers out there and they aren't cheap. We're talking $300 or more per month depending on how many emails sent. PowerMTA is one most email marketers use anyway. Interspire is another one most email marketers use as well. Free ones like Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo place severe limitations on sending emails to either 100 or 500 per day. Third is a VPS (virtual private server) since this is what you will use to send emails from or else your ISP will cut off your Internet service for good. Most email marketers go with Linux VPS along with Interspire. Fourth is a domain and hosting. Most people want to buy them cheap off GoDaddy, but there are others you can choose.

Email marketing seems to have a sizable investment anyway and payment to set it all up, but most people are able to make decent money on it. Biggest problem is that this will be considered spam and you won't be able to send your emails to inbox properly.

Lead Castle

Lead Castle is a CPA network. CPA means "cost per action." It's what GPT sites use to bring offers to their websites. Interestingly enough, you can do your own offers on CPA. Granted most of them seem to be incredibly difficult to get in since they do ask if you own a business and a website. After that, you can post offers on your site to see if they get approved or not from yourself and other people. The biggest problem is that CPA sites pay on a net 15 or net 30 scale, which means you get paid every 15 or 30 days. If your traffic is good and people are doing offers, then you get upgraded to net 7 and be paid weekly. In reality offers get approved if you do them correctly and you get paid much later. Lead Castle pays by PayPal which is what most GPT sites pay by. GPT sites pay by other methods like Payza and Liberty Reserve.

Windows 8

I have got my hands on Windows 8 today. It seems to work really well for those with newer PCs, especially those on the latest. As for older PCs, don't try to run Windows 8 on those that are much older than 2 years. Anyway there is a steep learning curve to learn some of the new features Windows 8 has, but it isn't so bad once you get used to it. SSDs seem to benefit the most from Windows 8 due to its new features.

I'm just waiting on Intel's Haswell to be released next year since we'll be seeing how Windows 8 really shines. With the holiday shopping craze starting to begin in a few weeks, people will be looking for new tech gadgets at lower prices. The latest trend seems to be smartphones and tablets, but Windows 8 needs to make a big wow factor on consumers to really use the operating system.

Pollbuzzer

Pollbuzzer is an interesting survey site that gives out surveys by email. They're incredibly rare though, but they do pay instantly to a verified PayPal account. The surveys are $1 each, but they pay within 24 hours so I think it is a worthy choice to use. Main reason is that the surveys are only 1 question each, which makes it really short and simple.

Email marketing

Looks like I bought an email marketing package for $275, but it turns out the software is old and doesn't seem to load at all in Windows 7 except for one. The other software has problems with memory when I tried to load an email list larger than 1 million. This is much harder than I thought and feel like I can never send what is intended. On top of that, it feels like I'm spamming messages which isn't good at all. I sign a contract stating I would do this or else the contract is nulled (can't get my money back). Buying lots of things will cost more than $500 with bulk email sending software, SMTP server, Linux VPS, and proxies.

Instasurf.biz is a scam

Looks like the scammer went back to create instasurf.biz after ripping off over $15k from people promising them 12% returns for 12 days. It's all a bunch of lies and it is from the same site as instasurfs.com which is permanently shut down for good. This new website looks the same as the previous one and uses the same template. Do not go to that website and do not invest there! The owner will rip you off, shut down the website, and make another website which looks exactly the same. I had enough of phony websites and trying to make money by ripping people off thinking of investing into the site.

Out of work, but another job assignment

Out of work for now, but I did get another job assignment for doing email marketing at home. Not too shabby and could help me earn some extra cash since I don't make as much on surveys anymore.

Sitizens problem with Explore bar

Looks like Sitizens is having a tournament that involves both money and rubies, but the problem is that under the Tournament of Explorations, mine hasn't gone up at all past a certain number. Yet the Tournament of Arrivals seem to be doing fine. Even though some other people have gotten explorations just fine, many are stuck at what they are at. Not sure whether it is a glitch or something else, but people just wonder if they're arrival and exploration count goes up at all. Not a big deal anyway, but some people cheat their way into it with bots.

MassProfitShares slow

The site is getting slower lately in paying people, so I guess that means people aren't investing into the site anymore. I shouldn't even waste money on it in the first place when there are better passive income sites out there like ProfitClicking and PassiveRevShare. Just goes to show you to spend as little money as possible once a site opens up to see if it is indeed worth investing.

Will be done with job soon

Looks like I'll be done with the job assignment soon. It's just stuffing 3 teddy bears, a ballot box, and some information packets into the box. Not that hard but it's slow since only 2 people are running the line. I'll be done on Monday or Tuesday depending on how fast we can go. With 2 people, we can only do 240 boxes while with 3 people we can do 448 boxes. There are 350 boxes left to make so we'll be done in 1 or 2 days.

Last job assignment

Looks like I'll be working on the last job assignment for this month. It's stuffing 3 teddy bears with information packets into a box. There are 1,070 of them to put in and load onto the shipping trailer, but the kicker is that only 3 people will work on the line so it'll take at least 4-5 days to finish unless 1 more person is there to load them onto the trailer. Not bad overall and at least I get some money out of it. These teddy bears are the Coca Cola polar bears that you usually see around Christmas in their advertising campaigns.

Monday, October 8, 2012

Back to work

Looks like I'm going back to work tomorrow. The assignment is suppose to be until next week, but it could either be finished early or be delayed even further. Once the job is over, I'll be buying an email marketing kit and will be working at home so I'll be using my PC more often. This is just a small stepping stone for me since I still can't find a job here in Georgia. They want candidates with experience so I'm out.

InstantCashSweepstakes

InstantCashSweepstakes is a survey site that pays you to take their surveys, which are short and fast. Of course, you get paid in tickets and coins for chances to win $50 each day or $2 every 4 hours. Sometimes you do get paid from 1 cent up to 10 cents occasionally. Minimum cashout is $2 and it only pays by PayPal.

Bugs in MassProfitShares

There seems to be a bug in the auto repurchasing when I click on a checkmark, it seems to buy more shares than I intended. I've only spent $10 and it seems to have spent over $24 on it by some fluke. MassProfitShares is still relatively new, so they need to work out the problems. It isn't so bad, but repurchasing after 2 days going by seems like a PITA and the auto repurchasing is still buggy.

MassProfitShares

MassProfitShares is an interesting site which is somewhat similar to Instasurfs, but it only has opened recently. You make money by investing a small amount into advertising packages for as low as $2 to as high as $60. You get money in the form of dividends and people continuously invest in the site. They expire after 2 days, then you can auto-enroll again with the dividends that you made. I'm not familiar with it, but I assume it is similar to ProfitClicking and PassiveRevShare. Not sure how long they'll last since they'll probably turned to scams, but it's better to invest early instead of later so you'll get some extra money. A decent way to promote your websites and gain traffic. Also you'll be making money before the site turns sour.

Slow work week

So much for a busy work week when there are only 3 temps. working in our kitting department. I assume there would be more, but due to shipping problems our work has been delayed. I'm still busy anyway and I have to clean up the mess left behind, mostly cardboard to recycle and trash to throw away. At least the money is coming in, but hoping for a full-time job somewhere else is impossible for me since they still ask for relevant work experience. Let's see what next week will bring anyway.

Work is exhausting

Going back to work is exhausting for me since I have been out of work for 7 weeks. My job is to make sure materials are in place, setting up sample kits, load them on pallets and the shipping trailer, and cleaning up our division's trash. It is really strange that the cardboard baler gets full every other day and I have to clean it up. It gets worse when the bale of cardboard gets stuck and I have to get help with another person just to load it on the pallet. It makes me sweaty and tired since other people are busy with work or chatting away.
I just need the money to buy an e-mail marketing software package.

Got money back from PayPal

I got my money back today from PayPal after filing a dispute against Instasurfs a few weeks ago. This site was actually a fraudulent site claiming to give you passive income just by looking at 8 ads a day. It's pure BS and the site has been shut down. Don't believe everything the Internet has to say because you have to figure out whether a site is legitimate or fake.

Sitizens ban

Looks like some people who are kings of certain domains were banned some time ago, but still remain kings in Sitizens. People really need to play fair in order to acquire domains/webpages. It's still fun to play and I get to see new sites almost everyday.

Instasurfs back online

Instasurfs.com is back online today after what is suppose to be an upgrade due to a surge of new buyers. I still can't get my money back after PayPal limit his account. The site is rater poorly designed, poor grammar, and too wordy. If it is suppose to be a traffic exchange site, then why is it poorly made compared to others? If you want traffic exchange that is fun, Sitizens is a much better choice. At least it is free and you can have fun with it. Payments are still not ready, but it seems only Liberty Reserve and Solid Trust Pay are taken as payments.

Sitizens: fun simple game

Sitizens looks like a simple game where you visit many different sites to take over sites first and become king of those domains. You just download a plugin for Chrome or Firefox, visit sites that you normally visit, and click on the Sitizens button to become ruler of that domain. The site does have contests every Monday and it involves prize money to your PayPal account. The tournament is divided into 3 categories as shown below. The Tournament of Friends: Refer the most people to Sitizens to win a prize. The Tournament of Kings: Overthrow the most Kings to win a prize. The Tournament of Exploration: Explore the most sites to win a prize. Obviously Sitizens wants you to visit these sites, conquer them to become king, and visit others so they can keep track of the websites visited. It also allows other visitors to bring up traffic to these sites. Seems rather helpful to bring new sites in. One big problem is that those sites with adult content should not be viewed by minors and must be categorized as such. It's sort of like a traffic exchange site, but seems to focus on finding new sites. Quite fun and simple actually.

Back to work temporary

Looks like I'm back to work after a long hiatus (7 weeks). Of course, my pay is still the same as 5 years ago at $10 per hour. It is just a temp. job and no other job in Georgia will hire me. Simple reason is that most require experience in the field and I have none of that for my business degree. The job assignment will last 3 to 4 weeks then I'm back to job searching for nothing. Life is cruel to a middle-aged person with a BBA degree.

Update on Instasurfs

The owner hasn't return any of my emails and they seem to either end up in the spam folder or never set up in the first place. Meanwhile people are still paying his website with the promise of 12% returns each day for 12 days. PayPal and Payza probably knew all along Instasurfs was a fraudulent site when they froze his accounts there. I'm still trying to recover my $48 from PP with the claim, but I doubt it'll ever come back to me. No one likes to lose money in such hard times and the promise of more money is just too tempting. For example the Zeekler scam which was a huge Ponzi scheme.

Instasurfs refuses to answer emails

Instasurfs has refused to answer 4 emails from 4 different clients they provided on their website. I get the same message every time and they're all tossed into the spam folder. I already escalate my dispute to a claim with PayPal. I just hope it goes through, but he has the nerve to still collect payments from Liberty Reserve, Solid Trust Pay, and Egopay. PayPal and Payza have already closed down his account due to suspicious activity. I was a fool to believe Instasurfs is legitimate, but the site is truly a scam. I did report to the FBI IC3 just to make sure this phony doesn't rip off other people, but he still does everyday. This site is new, but several people have already not receive payment from Payza. Do not join this site unless you want to be ripped off!

Instasurfs is a scam

Looks like Instasurfs is a scam. Sent 4 emails from different clients and they were all ignored as spam. At least I didn't invest much into the site. Do not put money in the site since PayPal and Payza already figured out that instasurfs.com is a scam.

Instasurf website

Instasurf is an interesting site that is suppose to be an autosurf and HYIP (high yield investment program). All you do is invest at least $12 into the site by PayPal, Payza, Egopay, Liberty Reserve, or SolidTrustPay account. You surf 8 sites a day then you get back 12% for each day for 12 days for a total of 144% return. After that it expires or you must reinvest again for another 12 days to surf 8 sites a day. I purchase $12 and it does seem to be legit so far, but the site seems to rely heavily on advertisements from other sites to promote them. You can even promote your own site by buying credits for them. I would be careful about investing there since the site doesn't seem to have a support tab of any kind. Also, make sure if you're paying by PayPal to make sure your Payza account is the same as PP since they seem to transfer money to the same email address. It does have potential but it is kind of risky since the site seems to rely heavily on advertising other sites. They also make money from referrals buying into the site. Overall, not sure whether it is good or bad but at least Instasurf pays decently. Only time will tell though. I do have a banner on the upper right area of my blog if you're interested in joining. Make sure you have a way to recover funds just in case the site runs into problems.

Making money online through research

Making money online isn't as easy as people make it out to be. For one thing, there are just as many scams as opportunities so proper research is necessary to find ones that actually pay you. It's not easy to find them, but once you do it's still up to you whether to take chances on them. Of course, some methods of making money are either legal or illegal, which is divided into white-hat versus black-hat methods. All these acronyms thrown around so people have to figure out which methods are best. I will continue that later in a future post.

Thursday, September 13, 2012

Promoting websites

How do people promote their websites and get referrals? One method is to use autosurf or traffic exchange sites to get visits to their sites. A rather easy way to get views, but what about buying products from sites? That is a different matter since people either ignore the pages or just click to see what it is. Referrals are also the same way and people want proof of something from those sites. Either you go there or you don't, it's that simple. People have ways of making money online through autosurf and traffic exchange (TE) sites. You just have to take your time to promote your websites and possibly money as well.

Life at home

Life at home isn't so bad but the problem is finding a steady source of income. Fortunately there are plenty of opportunities out there for making money income. I just have to be careful about which are legitimate and which are scams. I'll update on them soon if I can find the right ones.

2 Corsair Neutron SSDs contest

The SSD Review has just posted a contest where you could win a chance of getting the Neutron and Neutron GTX SSD. Both are at 240GB each and you could win one. Regulations and rules are posted on their site to win one of the SSDs. I already got myself a 120GB Intel 520 SSD from another contest, but winning a different SSD is good enough for me. If you don't know, SSD stands for solid state drive and is somewhat similar to a HDD.

Still looking for work

I'm currently still looking for work 9 months after graduation. Everywhere in Georgia employers keep asking for those with relevant job experience. Nothing even remotely entry-level. Not even low-paying jobs are being offered. Might as well make money online even though generally they don't pay as much.

RewardingWays GPT

I'm going to tell you about another GPT site since it's been a while. It is RewardingWays. This site is very much like other GPT sites, but they seem have weekly referral contests and monthly offer contests which is nice. PaidSurveysLive! and SurveyMad used to offer contests, but they cancel them earlier this year. If you want to win a contest, you have to do what the site wants. Referral generation and doing the most offers are the typical themes of most GPT sites. Unfortunately for me, I seem to have lost my edge in doing offers and surveys since they're much harder to approve now. On the bright side, RewardingWays pays by PayPal, Payza, and Liberty Reserve. I like a GPT site that has various payment options. Minimum cashout is $1, but if you buy a membership upgrade you can get instant PayPal cashout. The membership upgrade also helps you make slightly more money from offers so it helps. Upgrades last one year and have to be renewed by paying for membership.

Out of college and still no job

It's been a long time since I last write my blog, but life is still the same as usual. With the latest jobs report from the U.S. government being dismal, job seekers like myself wonder why are we still looking for work when most of the opportunities want you to have at least 3 years of experience. That is a joke, but I can understand from the employer's perspective. However, if they really want to save money employers should hire entry-level candidates who pass their interviews and tests easily so they can be properly trained to work there. The spike in gold prices seem to indicate tough times ahead for the world as countries are facing insurmountable problems. I still make money on surveys, but lately too many people jump in and draining funds out even faster. Instant payments are on hold at PSL. Hopefully people will be looking forward to getting money by any means (not HYIP though).
